LOCATION: Mount Kabunian is located in Bakun, Benguet, a municipality in the northern part of the Cordillera region.
ENTRY POINT: The trek begins at Poblacion, Bakun, where hikers register at the local tourism office.
EXIT POINT: The hike ends back at Poblacion, following a loop or backtrack trail.
DIFFICULTY: 5/9 – The steep ascent, exposed ridges, and narrow trails require good physical fitness, but the route is manageable with a guide.
HEIGHT: 1,789 meters above sea level
HOURS TO SUMMIT:Â It may take around 4-5hrs to reach the summit and 3-4hrs for the descent.
